This retreat includes safaris to spend time with the White Lions in their native habitat, a visit to Kruger National Park with our own private guide, daily workshops and guided meditations to connect with nature and our inner guidance, and rituals and ceremonies to heal our relationships with nature, ourselves and our ancestors.

Along the way, we’ll explore the calling of our souls in guided meditations, reflective walks in the savannah, and local outings exploring the cultural and conservation impact of the Star Lions.

What Is Included: 

• 8 days / 7 nights at Timbavati, the sacred heartland of the White Lions, and the Drakensberg Mountains

• International travel to Johannesburg
• Hotel accommodations and dinner in Johannesburg Friday night
• Travel between Johannesburg and the retreat center (with the group)
• 2 lunches (1 a Kruger National Park, 1 at Harrie’s Famous Pancakes)
• Lion bone divination reading from Tsonga Medicine Woman (optional)
• Souvenirs, gifts, and personal expenses 
• Gratuities for retreat center staff, guides, drivers, etc.
• Any additional expenses arising from the delay or extension of a trip due to weather, political disputes, sickness, failure of transportation, or other causes beyond our control
• Any hotel or travel costs after the retreat ends

Retreat Costs

$3,750 (per person, double occupancy)

Some rooms include ensuite bathrooms and some include communal bathrooms.

Payments

• $750 Non-refundable deposit to hold your spot
• Remaining balance of $3,000 is due by June 30, 2023 and can be paid in a single payment or installments of $1,000 on Feb 28, April 30, June 30.
• *All payments are non-refundable

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations received between January 1, 2023 and June 30, 2022 will result in a total loss of $750 deposit as well as any payments already made. Cancellations received between June 30, 2022 and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds.

NOTE: If there are COVID or other such testing requirements in place at the time of the retreat and you test positive, you will be unable to attend the retreat and this will be considered a cancellation.

TRAVEL INSURANCE is REQUIRED

Our venue requires that all attendees purchase and maintain travel insurance during the entire length of the retreat (including the return date). Coverage should include, but not be limited to illness, injury, property damage, loss of personal items, death, cancellation and any other potential losses, damages, expenses and/or liabilities.

You are responsible for purchasing this insurance when you register for the retreat. Some great options are available through Trawick International, Travel Guard and Global Rescue. To protect your retreat investment, we strongly encourage purchasing a CFAR (Cancel for any reason) Insurance policy which covers COVID and checking to ensure it covers all of your costs including the retreat, airline tickets, and hotel.

If the trip is rescheduled due to COVID restrictions, your deposit and any paid funds will be applied to the new date.

Saturday morning, we’ll travel from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit, transfer to White Lion Territories, settle into our guest rooms, and enjoy a Safari at Dusk to meet the White Lions

Sink into the heart of the White Lion homelands with a morning lion wisdom workshop and afternoon presentation from GWLPT founder Linda Tucker or lion ecologist Jason Turner. We’ll help the scientific monitoring team with White Lion Tracking at dusk and complete the day with a guided meditation for integrating science and spirit.

In the morning, we’ll have an excursion to a local “Star Lion” Center with a performance by local school children and then in the afternoon, we will journey on foot with expert Tsonga tracker to the Elephant Temple to Make Peace with Nature. We’ll meet with the Southern Prides at Sunset and wrap up with dinner around the fire and a Dream Incubation practice.

Our relaxed day (sleep in!) includes a morning workshop on interpreting messages from star beings, possible afternoon divination readings from local Tsonga medicine woman, and then a river walk along the Nilotic Meridian with expert indigenous trackers at dusk. You can sleep out under the stars at the sacred Rock Star Lion or the Tree House! (optional)

We’ll get an early start for a full day excursion (including a picnic breakfast) in Kruger National Park and savor an unforgettable private guided tour of the celebrated home of elephants, zebras, cheetahs, lions, antelopes, and so much more…

We’ll depart at dawn for a full day in the Drakensberg Mountains along the Panoramic Gold Route, with lunch at world-famous Harrie’s Pancakes in Graskop and souvenirs available from local artisans. At dusk, we’ll settle into Margsol Private Guest House and end the day with an Ancestral Integration and Healing Ceremony.

Our final full day together in Africa includes a morning excursion to Kaapsehoop to seek Earth’s oldest rock formations, pre-amoeba fossils, and wild horses, as well as an afternoon walk to Adam’s Stone Calendar – the oldest stone calendar in the world. In the evening, there will be a Guided Meditation to connect with the primordial ancestors of All life on Earth.

In the morning we will meet for our final group activity: a Completion Ceremony to Come Home to Your Soul’s Knowing and then we’ll shuttle from Margsol Guest House to Nelspruit airport and then to Johannesburg and our final destinations.
