Animal Communication

Free AC Training Part One

Mini-Workshop on Animal Communication

In celebration of the third annual Animal Communicator & Healer Summit, I want to welcome our new community members and share a special gift with everyone:

A free 4-part training series on Animal Communication!

Each video will teach you one step in the curriculum in my How to Talk to Your Pet class. This is a proven 4-step system that teaches anyone (and everyone) how to communicate intuitively with their pet (or any animal).

In this first video, I answer these commonly asked questions:

       *Can I talk to animals?

*Is there a simple clear formula for talking to animals?

*Is there a way to uncomplicate the process for talking to animals?

*How do I quiet my mind so I can hear what animals are saying to me?

Join me in Talking to Animals!

You can think of this series as a 4-part program to get closer to your pet.

Or a 4-part challenge to unleash your natural abilities.

Or just a cool thing to do for yourself and your pet.

So, let’s get started!

Now It’s Your Turn

I’d love to hear from you! What’s your ‘why’? Who is the animal that you most want to be able to talk to?

Cara

Thank you for your connection! My why is a driving need to support my dog Leia. I believe she was a child of mine in a previous journey. Being with me in this present state was surrounded by what I consider to be spiritual energy occurances. My background includes energy measure trainings. Your grounding cord tool had a much more powerful feeling than those I have used in the past. A much longer story exists BUT my pup needs the attention more so than I! Looking forward to this training for all the heart & soul it carries and shares! Always, Karen & Leia

        Hi Dr Gubbins
I years ago had spontaneous telepathic conversations with a long gone cat
For reasons I’d prefer to disclose privately I know that I royally screwed up that relationship & I am afraid that I am undeserving of any further animal communication.
Is there any way that I could reach you privately for guidance?
        Thank you

I want to learn animal communication to talk to my pets (currently 1 cat and 2 turtles) and to animals in the wild. It would be a natural outgrowth of my desire to learn
        “everything animal”.
From the age of 3, I knew I wanted to work with animals. In my late teens I spent my summers working at the Bronx Zoo’s in the Children’s Zoo. I studied Biology in college, but became a Registered Nurse and was employed in that field for 30 years.
During that time I also became a Massage Therapist for Humans. Then earned certificatioin Small & Large Animal Massage.
I picked up on Animal Reiki along the way and a class or two in AC. I retired from everything 8 years ago for health and family reasons. So I no longer do massage, but realize now how wonderful & useful AC would have been for me back then.
I have had some sporadic episodes of inter-species communication over the years, and it’s only in hindsight now that I realize the animals were talking to me all along and I didn’t understand. They are a lot better at this stuff than I am and are very patient. I have so much more to learn. I’m really excited about this course and for others that will come later.
        Thank you Cara!

        Hi
I have always learned grounding as roots growing out under the feet.
Your method does actually make more sende.
I will use that from now in.
        Thanks for this tip.

I am in process to learn animal communication and i use every chance to learn more.
I can communicate with animals but i want to learn new ways to do it.
        Regards
        Hanne Lindbæk

      Hi,
I always wanted to communicate to my pets. I did see an animal communicator and she was dead on and sounded like my pets were talking to me and very specific! She described the pet that I lost and told me what I suspected he was feeling. I want to do this because I need to know my recently deceased pet Bella made it safely and to tell her how much I loved helping her through her illnesses. I have her brother left behind and want to communicate to him while he is here to see specifically what he needs or wants. I also lost a pet 3 years ago and still want to talk to him. I guess my journey is very specific to my pets and the pets living around me. I want to be able to reassure them that they will get whatever they need and I love them with all of my heart.

      Hello Dr. Cara,
I am grateful for this opportunity to learn how to communicate with my pet, Gelato is his name. He is a cat and he is my emotional support animal. I wanted to train him to visit other people, but I cannot talk to him and instead I found a special bond between us.
I was always drawn to animals even over people, because I felt I received unconditional love from animals.
I received a cat when I was born and a dog when I was one year old. Emotionally, I could be honest with my pets, I trusted them. I tried to love them unconditionally. I thought if I could talk with them, I could better meet their needs. I took an animal communication workshop years ago, but nothing since.
I want to ensure that I am meeting Gelato’s needs. Right now I am wondering why he talks so much and if he is talking about food.
That is a topic for later.
Thank you for teaching us from your heart ❤💙 hugs Tricia and Gelato

It’s a long story as to why I wanted to communicate with animals. It started back in 2016 when my Zorro was diagnosed with spindle cell tumor. I took him to the vet ,he had surgery sometime in June 2016. I searched for a homeopathic vet to treat Zorro post surgery so that the tumor won’t come back. I was able to find Dr Braz who was doing energy clearing, Chinese herbs and communication with Zorro. She recommended me to sign up for Lynn McKenzie’s class. In late October 2016 Zorro was diagnosed with bone cancer that developed very fast. That made me sign up for AEC class and pay for the course. Unfortunately I was not able to communicate with him but continued taking him to Dr.Braz every week for his sessions. Zorro’s right, front paw/joint tripled overnight and had to put him down to end his suffering. Zorro was my baby – I had a miscarriage in 2006 and got depressed. Once I got out of depression, my ex-husband and I adopted Zorro and he became my baby. I couldn’t go through the holiday season 2016 without a dog and 5 days after I put Zorro down, I got Eva, same breed, Doberman female. I wanted to get a female Doberman due to the fact that I didn’t want to compare Eva with Zorro. Zorro was a very laid back dog and very smart. We trained Zorro both in Romanian and English. I couldn’t continue studying for AEC because I had a lot on my plate – grieving Zorro, going to school 3/4 to finish my BA degree, having 2 F/T jobs (my regular F/T job for the Federal Gvmnt that I still have and taking care of Eva and my mom who was diagnosed in 2015 with Altzheimer disease.) Six months after Zorro crossed the Rainbow Bridge, exactly on Zorro’s birthday, my mom passed away. I lost my 2 BFF /my kids 6 months apart 💔 😢 I had to interrupt school for a year and take care of me and Eva. After mom’s death my finances went down;I I was short $700/month that I had to charge it to my credit cards. Now, my finances are still low, -$200/month and would really appreciate if I can take this training for free. I would like to be able to connect and communicate with Eva and Boo-boo (my cat) so that I can “talk” to both of them. I am by myself here in the USA, all my relatives are in Romania and the only things that kept me going through these harsh times were Eva, Boo-boo and my job. Thanks for your understanding, help and support! Much love ❤

Thanks for this,I have spent all of my life with animals and I would love to be able to communicate with them as I love and respect them so much ….I am so glad that I have hopefully found the chance to do this before I get any older…I only became aware of this in the last couple of years

    • Cara Gubbins

You are welcome, Jan! I’m glad you found Animal Communication and this free training series. this will help!

  • Carol

I want to learn to communicate with animals because I believe I have already been receiving messages. It started years ago with a robin asking me what I was going to do with a worm I’d found in some dirt I was getting ready to move. (Now have thrown worms to birds many times in the past and each time they simply got frighted and flew off). Not this this time, this robin hopped over and picked up the worm I tossed at him and flew away. I was totally amazed. I’ve experienced other times I’m sure animals talked to me as well.

    • Cara Gubbins

Thanks for sharing that story, Carol! I love it! I hope this free training series gives you jumpstart on your animal communication skills and makes it easier for you to receive and recognize the messages animals are already sending to you! Good luck!

  • Nitza Lea Mizrahi

    Thank you!
    I am going to try
I do have Nari- but I also like to be able to speak more fluently to ” my” houlk
Toda Raba! ( thank y9u in Hebrew)

    • Karen

I would like to talk with my animals , so I can learn why they do what they do. Also to have their input in how to fix problems.

        • Sara Swope

I want to learn how to better communicate with animals, horses in particular, so I can become a better trainer. I am a very good trainer now, I have had alot of years training with awesome trainers and of course, reading the books of incredible trainers such as Podhajsky, Hempfling, and Roberts. I have a very good repoire with my 3 OTTB’s, I don’t even have to halter mine for most procedures, and through clicker training, they will come when called, but I am always open to new ways that seem to be legit based on my extensive research and practice. Theory proves the practice, and practice proves the theory. Indeed, communication is a 2 way street, and this has been proven over and over again by the fact that many riders demand from their mounts things they cannot do, either because the horse has not been mentally prepared, or is unable to execute the demand physically, both due to the rider’s inability to effectively prepare the horse for such a demand. So the horse gets punished by the rider with high ambition, and little theoretical knowledge. If people would just become more aware to their horse’s body language, and expressions, my hope is that this cycle of abuse and torture will cease. So if I can help, I will. Thanks 🏇🏇🏇

  • Wilma G Mahoney

Dr. Cara, I wish to thank you so much for this 1st video of 4. The grounding cord was awesome, until I anchored in, I felt my body floating around Mother Earth, so light.

My WHY for Animal communication is I desire to be a messenger for all animals, to help them, to relate messages back to owners. I am a Lev II Reiki Practitioner, Animal Healer and Groomer. To be able to communicate with these animals I will help them to relax and feel at ease. I have always been around animals from a very young age.

    I thank you. Greatly appreciated.

    • Cara Gubbins

Wilma, what a great WHY! I can totally picture it in my mind – and what a beautiful scene it is! Keep going!

  • Margot Shaw

Thanks fot his quick series! I, too have “worked” at true communication for years, even a trip and workshop with Penelope Smith. Also worked with Mary Getten with some results in her workshops, but not on my own.
My 16 year old+ cat, Bella has,( as do I) joint problems. She tells me, (through my animal communicator) that she prefers to talk to me in her meow language, which I’ve told her I don’t understand very well. She is very verbal. I’d like to really talk to her and be able to answer some of her verbal “complaints”. Steely, who died about 1 1/2 years ago was more willing to help me with the intuitive connection, but I was still too much “in my head”.

    • Jan Armstrong

      Hi Cara,
I am in Melbourne, Australia and I have spent most of my life wanting to work with animals.
I did work experience as a teenager with a verinarian but I didn’t pursue my dream to study this at university level.
I became a Registered Nurse and currently work in a hospital caring for people as they awake from surgery.
I have studied spiritual energy, Reiki and meditation and know that I have a connection.
I am hoping you can show me how to use it so that I can pursue my dream to work mainly with animals, and sometimes to help people too.
      With gratitude,
      Jan Armstrong.

  • Takako Ueda

My why. I have wanted to communicate with animals over 10 years. I have taken many workshops and online classes and read a lot of books. But so far none of them worked. I have gotten to know a black pig whose work is to bear piglets to sell. She has done the fifth now and her time has come. I have a professional animal communicator friend who communicated with the pig GiGi. She has a dream to retire the job and wants to have a normal pig life such as sleep, eat and snuggle. I want her dream to come true. So far no facilities have said “YES” I want to communicate with GiGi directly what she really wants. She has been so depressed as well. I want her life to be the best for her highest good. I want to help animals especially when they have to go through the processes of dying such as farm animals have to go. Also elephants who have suffered in many ways and now they are in danger of extinction. I want to assist or help somehow such as sending Reiki or healing energy to reduce their struggles and pains. But if I know what they want, then, I would know exactly what to do. Also finding lost animals could help if I could communicate with them.

  • Diane E. Baumer

I’ve always felt a kinship with animals. I strongly believe that the only way we can understand, live in harmony with, and advocate for animals is to be fully engaged with them. As an HTA practitioner and soon-to-be color therapist, communication with animals can only help in the bonding and healing processes. I, of course, want to improve my communication with my own cats (newly adopted in December after my other two girls transitioned), but I have a particular interest in strengthening my ability to communicate with birds, insects, and other animals that are not domesticated. My biggest successes to date – that is, times when I got validation of communication – were with ants and a spider in my home, and the birds in my backyard.

  • Elaine Winter

Why do you think it took so long for you and your dog to be able to communicate since you had already been practicing as an animal communicator?

  • Nora Armbruster

Thank you for your infinite wisdom, Cara! I am making a career change from education to animal communication and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m also a yoga instructor so the grounding cord practice is not new to me but you better believe that I will make it part of my daily practice. So my “why” is to make a difference in the lives of pets and people. Animals have so much wisdom, storytelling, and love to offer humans. It is my hope that I can be a conduit to help heal animals, humans, and the planet. Thank you for everything you do!

  • Karen E. Case

I have loved animals since I was a child, unable to have any secondary to my Mom being very allergic. I took care of all of my neighbors animals whenever possible. I have always known that helping animals is one of my callings. I have since becoming an adult, rescued dogs for 40 years. I have always wanted to be able to talk with them since seeing Dr. Doolittle. Ha!
I never knew it was possible! I have experienced telepathy only once that I know of, with a deceased friend. It happened so fast, he spoke, I answered and then I freaked out! So, would love to learn to be able to use this ability. I am convinced that is how we communicate once we leave this world, just didn’t realize it was possible in this realm! I would love to help animals in distress, those who are in pain especially post surgeries and prior to death, to help to improve their lives and follow their wishes. How amazing it woud be. Honestly, I am alittle skeptical that I would be able to do so. I have a very difficult time trying to quiet my mind to meditate. I have lost 6 children/dogs over the past 4 years, extremely hard. My last dog is 14 and has always been very anxious. Vet reports he is having kidney difficulties, so I may only have a short time with him. Would love to be able to help him be pain free, comfortable and then help when the time comes to cross over.
Thanks so much for doing this series for free Dr. Cara! We appreciate you.

  • Maureen

Hi Dr. Cara, I am pretty new to formal animal communication, having just completed my first class. Right now I am just soaking up every source of information that I can, from any sources I find. I was drawn to take you up on your offer of the 4-steps mainly because I appreciate your warm and supportive and accepting energy. I am looking for this in a teacher. I would like to communicate with more deeply with my two dogs than I do, and beyond that I would really love to have more fluidity with the animals I meet in my life and sometimes rescue. Esp. wild animals. Thank you for offering this! Maureen

  • Karen Marrotte

Dr. Cara. Thank you so much for the Summit and for this series. I have been wanting to do this for about 30 years but until now I realized that I was never grounded to receive. I am anxious to start working on that.
I did receive a message from a little squirrel “Betty Anne” that lived with us for 8-1/2 years because she only had 3 legs. We were doing wildlife rehabilitation at the time. At the end of her life, Betty Anne screamed at me on day that she was dying. I started to cry and thanked her for teaching me about squirrels and their care. I thought I could only hear the animals if they were screaming at me. Another time I did talk with someone’s horse but I was in an AC workshop with lots of energy in the room. I have been working with an AC, for many years, and always check in with her when bringing a new animals into our home, etc. How amazing she is! Always questioning why I couldn’t do this.
Thank you again and this time I am more confident that I am going to “get it”!
    Regards,
    Karen Marrotte

  • Diana

I have always wanted to communicate with animals and have been trying for some time. I have talked with ants and asked them not to come into the house, for their own safety. I have not had any problems since
My why now is, I really want to communicate with our dog Benson. I think he understands me but I find it hard to get anything back. I think the grounding will be very helpful and will try to do it daily. Thanks Dr Cara.

  • Sue Fierro

So I have been interested in this idea of how to better communicate with animals. I think I sometimes have a telepathic sense from dogs as I pass them by on the street. My beloved Toby dog, went to rainbow bridge in 2019 after months of kidney failure treatments. For years he tried very hard to communicate with me and I was unable to understand what he was telling me. I hope to talk with him again some day.
Now, my boyfriend and I have with 3 indoor cats; The 2 females were adoped as kittens rescues. And are now 1, and 4yrs old. Our Male cat is 7. he is the leader of the pack for sure. The cats get along quite well. He seems to be frustrated, and has started peeing around the house, daily. I feel he is wanting to be out side, and may feel trapped. I would love to understand what they are all feeling, and then maybe we could provide some better understanding, and healing.
    Thank you
    Sue

  • Bom van Heusden

I am so ready to be taking these steps – everything I have been doing is just helping me understand and just accept. Each time I do the grounding core I feel so at peace and look forward to being more connected and able to help the animals I share my life with. I have had many experiences of feeling the connections and so many times I have just known what an animal is wanting but because I can’t ‘grasp’ it, I doubt myself and it hasn’t felt real. I know these wonderful steps you are offering will help me find the way to follow this path. Many thanks Cara xx

  • evelyne chezum

I’ve followed you for a few years, and I have so much respect for your candor, your warmth, and your honesty. I’ve wanted to take ” formal” classes but have been financially “challenged” ( thank you for these great tools!)

I remember as a child pretending I WAS whatever animal dujour in my imagination… even attaching yarn to a swim cap as a lions mane! Toilet paper stuffed in the back of my pants as my tail as I crawled around on the lawn on all fours as a dog… My dog was my only true friend. I wanted to be a veterinarian until I learned you had to put them down as part of the job… ha! Just remembered I won first prize in an elementary school talent show in 5th grade by making various “animal imitation sounds”.

About ten years ago, I picked up a book and started doing the practice exercises with one of my 3 kitties. That was an extremely emotional experience which has blossomed over the years. What come out of them is so hilarious sometimes! It’s been most rewarding but my “why” stems from my desire to stop second guessing myself, to receive clearer, to be of greater service/assistance to my animal brethren in whichever way I can best serve.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO

  • evelyne chezum

PS: thank you soooooo much for allowing comments WITHOUT Facebook membership! Thankful so much to even express gratitude in this venue for ALL you do to help humans interact with what I’ve always considered the wiser species.

  • Nancy

It’s important for me to know why. Why does my cat Joy relish his food one day, and refuse it the next?
Is there something he would like from me?
Why did my wild bird Bugsy adruptly disappear? She appeared whenever I was gardening, and roosted in the carport.
I provided meal worms this past winter, when Bugsy didn’t migrate away and would otherwise starve.
Why did she leave? Is she still alive?

When I focused on my body during “The Grounding Cord” exercise, I noticed my left shoulder throbbed with pain
telling me that lifting bags of soil was the cause.

    Thank you for everything. Nancy

My “why/who”- have had opportnity to work with Maribeth at Sacred Grove a couple of times with success with our Border Collie, Piper. We are at least her 3rd family after initial shelter. She is funny, smart and quirky- but more challenging with aging (12) and significant health history. While MB is a great resource, I would love to be able to commnicate better with Piper directly. I know she is frustrated with us and trying to communicate so I am definitely the weak link in the relationship!

  • Karen Niznik

    Hi Dr. Cara!

Loved the Summit-I want to do everything now!!

How I got here-A couple of years ago I had an aging dog. My friend, Amy Williams Delong, started working with him using oils and energy healing. She also began communicating with him to help me know when it was “time”. Some of the conversations she would relate made me laugh and cry because they were so him!! He used language I used with him but that she would not have known. With her guidance, she helped me feel comfortable with what he was sharing and feeling. When the time got close, we had a going away party for him (and have pics in which he was clearly posing!!). He knew. He agreed. And that helped me so much. I have new fur kids now and would love to be able to open that communication.

As to the grounding cord…so much tingling in my perineum area!!! And when I got connected, I felt like a helium balloon, with a weight holding me down. I had a slight panic feeling like I couldn’t move and wondered how I was supposed to untie myself from the rock I was attached to!! I quickly found out I could move, it was just an easier, more floaty type movement. Can’t wait for step 2.

    Thank you!

  • Kiran bhadauria

    Good evening Dr Gubbins,
Hope you are safe and in good health 😃
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video.
MY WHY : when I was little my heart and mind always had an affectionate inclination towards animals. Bringing stray puppies 🐶 home, feeding them and their mothers would come to my house to look for her puppies 😉 🤭🤦🏻‍♀️. However, my calling was realised only when I had my first pet BHATI. Though she was with us for 14 years but I think it was her who adopted us 😆. Bhati was an Indian stray dog and was the most intelligent being. After she dropped her body and she moved on, I started to take care of other strays in my neighbourhood. I started with 5 stray dogs and in time it has increased to nearly 66 – 70 dogs and puppies. Feeding them, their treatments whenever needed, sterilisation and adoption. We also take care of their burial ritual once they drop their body 😞. This affection towards my dogs I realised that what I am doing is my calling but what is it that the animal wants from me or what is the animal’s calling ? This brought me to animal communication 😊. I did my animal communication course in August 2020 and have been practising it on my dogs ( haven’t taken it professionally though ) and it has helped me a lot to understand these animals so well 😇.
GROUNDING : grounding for me sometimes takes time as my mind has a lot of wandering thoughts … I seem to have a restless mind 😆. However once I get the grip of silence, my mind becomes calm and I reach my numb zone. Sometimes my grounding leaves me light headed and other times it gives me heaviness. ( question : does the light mindedness and heaviness had to do with my energy ? Could you please give me more insight on grounding ? More of How and Why !! )
Waiting for the second video 😊 thank you

    Hi Cara,

Thank you so much for doing this!

I am a Reiki Animal Communicator, located in Ottawa, Canada. .When I got my degree in 2006, I wanted to ‘give back’ to all the wonderful animals I knew in my life up to that point. Yes, I did do Reiki on humans, but animals were my first love (and still are!). A Reiki friend told me about giving Reiki to animals and put me in touch with a communicator in California. Back then Animal Reiki was not a well practised modality-wise and to this day it is evolving beautifully.

My ‘why’ is a strong sense that it is time to work with the animals in this enlightened time. Through working with my clients, I believe I am finally getting through to their humans. At first I was reluctant to tell them about messages I was getting from their pets, but over time, I have learned to just say, “I may get messages and this message has nothing to do with me. It’s just what I received from your pet.” More than ever, it usually is the animal’s concern over their ‘parent’s’ well being. I am still thrilled to get confirmation from the pet’s humans after they confirm to me what their pets have picked up on. It changes the way they view them (which is another reason why I do this.).

My first ” Aha”moment came when I and my colleague at that time ,were asked to give Reiki to a Rabbit Rescue. As I went from cage to cage sending energy, I came across a small white bunny, named “Ray”. Ray yelled at me telepathically, ” I want to die!”. I was shocked and started to ‘tear up’ because the message was so strong and so loud that it shocked me! I couldn’t understand why he felt that way. He told me that before he came to this rescue, the previous owner was a cruel woman who use to beat the rabbits and Ray would run to protect them and take the beatings himself. That really bothered me. This story has a lovely ending though, thankfully! . One of the rescue rabbit’s cousin was there that day and after she heard the story and what she saw, she turned to her cousin and said, “I want to buy that rabbit for my family for Christmas!” She did and shortly after she gave birth to an incredible child – a boy, Liam – who loved Ray as he grew up. My colleague and I did one more session with Ray before he left . He had been moved upstairs to the office and he was like a new rabbit! I am blessed and grateful for the events that progressed and truly believe that a higher power was at work here, helping to make this happen.

I am curious to learn from other Animal Communicators and more knowledge is what I seek. Your message about not being able to connect with Iko before his passing really resonated with me, because I can’t seem to read my pets. Perhaps they are too close to me or I’m trying too hard. So I am anxious to learn your steps to see if I can break down the barriers. I do know intuitively when they want food or that they want out. I have two cats currently and one is a like a soul mate. I’ve no doubt she and I had a connection in a past life. Both cats are 18 years old, so I know their time may be short. One is currently sickhas a leaking absess that we are attending too.

I also want to connect with my past three cats that are in Spirit.

Blessings to you Cara. I felt the peace you spoke of after doing ‘The Grounding Core”. I look forward to the next 3 videos!

    Keep up the good work!
    In Gratitude,
    Marg

    Dear Cara,
I love hearing speak…. I have been doing AC for 11 years but i know I will be much better now. You opened for me so many new wonderful ways.
Why do I do AC ? For the love of animals, because one of my dear cat before dying did exactly what I had told her to do just speaking to her…. she understood everything and because, when a child, a cat wanted to tell me things with his eyes but I did not understand and 60 years later, I got the answer in AC….
    Thanks a lot.

hi cara – i am corinne from belgium and already doing animal communication but with animals from other people – i have the feeling that i can not communicate with my own animals and i would love to communicate more with malaika, my soulmate dog who will become 8 this year – she has some fear issues and i would like to help her through by understanding why she acts the way she does and beside that just being able to chat with her by intuition

  • Rachelle

Hi Dr. Cara! Thank you for these videos. Years ago I took one animal communication class and I was able to successfully talk to animals, but as happens with life sometimes, I stopped practicing. I am now eager to relearn the skill so I can communicate with my aging cat. I also now work as a vet tech and would love to be able to bring animal communication to the clinic where I work.

  • Sharon Swanick

When I was a child, communicating with animals was easy. I knew what they were saying to me. As I got older, I lost some of this ability. I have always been able to understand immediate emotions but not images of what has happened to them or what they want in the future. My soul is more deeply connected to animals than humans. Their innocence, trust, ability to care for themselves in a human dominated existence touches and concerns me deeply. I have worked with animal communicators and taken classes, read animal communication books. I would like to “hear” and be able to respond to each animal with a greater understanding of what they are trying to say. Now I live with five domesticated inside cats, three dogs, and several pigeons, sparrows, hummingbirds, and three feral cats live outside of my house. In the past year three of my dear animal friends (a hores, a dog, and a cat) transitioned into the next life. I miss them very much and can sometims feel them checking in with me. I do not think I would be as sad if I was sure that they were very happy and knew that they know how much I love and miss them.

Hello Cara, my why is to stay connected with my boys, Captain, Doobie and Cash, they were my life. It started with session with Karen Anderson and was amazed
and could’nt believe this animal commnication was even true. With the reincarnation of Captain I want to stay connected with him and my other boys. Also want to connect with my boy Takoda who is 3 years old. I have tried an online class but due to the 12 hour shifts I work make it hard to find time. Want to start again
now that I am working 8 hour shifts and will be retiring at the end of the year.

I have always been interested in animal communication as I think it is a beautiful thing in itself; but I have 3 cats and I would like to be able to communicate with them and know that they are happy. I love to feel connected with all animals; with the blackbirds and sparrows outside etc. Your grounding cord exercise felt very relaxing. Thank you.

When I was only 2 years old, my parents bought us a dog. Her name was Brandy and she lived to be 17 yrs old. She was my best friend and my confidant all the formative years of my life, and passed away during my first semesters of college in 1982. I was devastated.
I always talked to her and we played games together. I somehow always knew what she was thinking and how she was feeling, and she was my best & closest friend. My family has had many many dogs over the years and each time I went home to visit them, I would always spend more time with the dogs! I’ve always had an affinity toward animals. I somehow knew when they were sick or when they were emotionally in trouble.
In 2012 I adopted a traumatized dog, who had to have his rear leg amputated from abuse. He was under 1 yr old. I named him “Luckyduck”. I was very blessed to have him in my life but our relationship was not an easy one. Over time, we developed trust and an understanding of HIS boundaries; which led to a closer, more loving relationship. In 2018, he developed testicular cancer from a non-decsended testicle, due to the rescue’s neuter doctors’ incompetence. She never checked for this. My wonderful Veterinarian was able to remove the huge cancerous mass, and my Luckyduck survived.
In the fall of 2020, I felt a lump in his abdomen again and brought him back to our vet. The cancer (sertoli cell) was back with a vengeance. After tests & scans, we needed an oncological team. The surgery was risky as they always are, but we had to fight. I spent the next 2 weeks talking with Luckyduck about it and although we were scared, we had to try.
The night before surgery, Dec 8, 2020, we kissed and hugged and I told him he’d be okay… That night Luckyduck stayed on my bed all night.
Dec 9th we brought him in for surgery, and it was a llong, nerve-wracking day. At 8pm, I got the call that Luckyduck was in very critical condition. After many hours of prayers and telepathic communication with him, I was thankful he made it through… then at 11:48pm, the hospital called and told ne me to come, as he took a turn. It was a 20 minute drive, and when I got there, my Luckyduck had already passed on. Tomorrow will mark 22 Wednesdays since he left, and I haven’t dreamed of him but once. I talk to him all the time, as I need him to know I never thought he wouldn’t make it. He died in a strange place with strangers. They called me to come, too late. I’ve been trying to connect with Luckyduck, and I’m having trouble. Is it because I’m so very sad? I hope he knows I’d never have done anything to hurt him and I was there, albeit too late.
Dr. Cara, I’m hoping your classes will help me to connect with him. He was my heart-dog, my soulmate. Any insight would help a great deal. Thank you so much for your heart.

I was drawn to animal communication after the sudden loss of my beloved cat Mozart at only 8 years old. He had an extremely rare health issue — a thyroid storm which I believe was triggered by stress caused by a smoke alarm that went off in our house. Shortly after he died, I spoke with a professional animal communicator. I could not believe the things she was able to tell me about him. She mentioned his last days and being in a bubble (oxygen tank), visiting multiple vets (3), etc. While his passing wasn’t easy, it meant the world to me to know that he was still around, otherwise there was no way she could be getting this accurate information. I love him so much that I made my New Year’s goal to be able to communicate with him by the end of the year. I also want to be able to talk with my two cats, my horse and animals at the local animal rescue where I do the web write-ups for the cats.

Thanks Cara for organising the Summit and offering this free 4-part programme on Animal Communication. So much amazing information and such a relief to know I’m not the only one struggling to communicate. We have 2 gorgeous cats (3-years-old in human years) we got as 12 week old kittens. They know us so well and are definitely trying to communicate. Some behavioural issues have arisen lately and I’m sure it’s related to me not being ‘well’. I think they can sense the shift in my energy levels. Rafi, our gentle, funny, very loving male, has started to periodically spray over the top of the litter tray. He always does his business in the litter trays, but I can’t understand why he is spraying over the back of the litter tray. Suki, our ultra-energetic, very loving, cute female, has started having run-ins with her brother. They seem to want to hog time with their humans, even sleep in different spots, and I need to be able to communicate with them to find out what they want and how we can all resolve these issues together. I’d love to be able to help them with their ‘soul contract’.

Hi Cara, Thanks for your generosity in organising the recent summit and this 4 episode series.
*My huge why is I would LOVE to understand how to make my Kelpie , Annie’s LIFE more complete .
*To know she’s aware I wish her the respect she deserves.
*What food/ supplements does she enjoy , dislike. thrive on ?
She’s 11 years old and despite being relatively active, suffers from joint pain etc.
    * I would love to fully understand the why what where of her pain, and what I can do to BEST help alleviate it .* When she really needs a massage

*How best to communicate to her that she’s safe and secure if left alone so she’s never anxious.
*What makes her HAPPY ? SAD ?
    * To know I am working and living cooperatively with her.
*There are times I need her to understand that I have times when I need abreak from immediately attending to her wants or needs but it’s not her ” fault”
    * Of course I;m aware that as with all animals she understands the consequences of many of our words and actions .
    * I dealry wish to communicate clealry , leaving her with no confusion.

I had a cat who died in 2004 at the age of 20 (she was 20, I was 47). A few weeks later, a voice came to me as I was resting (I have severe chronic illnesses). It was very startling. I grabbed a paper and pen and started writing. It was her. I flew it by some energy healers and an animal communicator, who all thought this was the ‘real’ deal. I have written with her off and on since, but have not made nearly as much ‘use’ of this precious guidance/wisdom as I know I could as there have been a lot of intense life challenges along the way. I would like to deepen this relationship.

Also, I currently have 2 10 year old Havanese dogs, one of whom has a chronic kidney illness (Fanconi Syndrome) and is very sick. The other has had 2 back operations and had to have all her teeth pulled. They are suddenly both needing more medical attention/care, and there are often situations where it’s between a rock and a hard place choice. Although we use an animal communicator (not sure how good she is), I would like to have my own ability to intuit/communicate with our girls about what it is that would be best for them with all the decisions/choices we have to make for them. And, I would love to be able to deepen my bond with them while they are still alive.

Thanks for the connection to all this wonderful information for communicating with animals. I’ve always thought that I had a special connection with any animal and I want to learn how to strenghen that communication. I’ve rescued many dogs and cats over the years and wish I could have known more about each one. I want to be able to help my babies learn how to get along better with each other and ones that they don’t know. Also, I want to help dogs and cats, especially, find their way home and why they escaped in the first place.

I’ve always wanted to be have a closer relationships with pets I’ve had in my life. They always seem to have so much they wanted or want me to understand and vice versa. They all have been so expressive; my heart always blooms when I’m with them either in person or in spirit.
